RAPHAEL HOUSE'S ANNUAL GALA CALLS ON SAN FRANCISCO'S JET SET TO BRING
ITS MISSION HOME
460 of California's hippest philanthropists and socially-conscious movers and shakers gathered to support
Raphael House, a San Francisco-based shelter, with the mission of providing a safe haven for local families
experiencing homelessness while strengthening their family bonds and personal dignity in an effort to help
them achieve housing and financial independence.
The “One Home, Many Hearts Gala” at the Four Seasons honoring San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom
raised $420,000 to support the shelter's innovative mission to serve as a place where families could remain
a unit while recovering from homelessness.
The champagne flowed as the dinner, dancing and silent and live auction bidding all celebrated this inspiring organization that has sheltered more than 10,000 children and their parents over the past 35 years. With its proactive programs, including the AfterCare Program that offers a wide range of support services to 850 parents and children yearly, Raphael House lives up to its motto of “taking families from crisis to community.”
