"WORK! Yes. The dreaded four-letter word I hate to utter in summer. As soon as the Fourth of July is over, all major stores fill their shelves with back-to-school supplies. And even though moms and kids shudder at the idea that summer has just started, we are already thinking about the next school year. Being in the lunch box business…this is my season! "…planning to take time off from work! Our busy season is quickly approaching—Christmas and calendar season will be here in a blink of an eye. My entire team works overtime in the fourth quarter and we add many seasonal helpers then, too. I am blessed to have a booming business, but that time of year is absolutely exhausting and I spend very little time at home. This summer, I plan to go tent camping with my family (yes, I'm a tent camper!) and spend as much time on the beach as possible. My kids are finally old enough to carry their own boogie boards and beach gear, so I plan to bring my camera and a beach chair and take photos of the ‘Summer of 9.’ My kids will be 10 next year, double digits! Time just flies by and I want to cherish every moment and make fun memories this summer."
