FIVE EASY PIECES
At TFG, we say "Think Global, GET IT local." It's our mission to deliver the groove right to your doorstep—or computer screen, as it were. In TFG's global village, local stores share the stage with national and international ones. Each month TFG will introduce you to a regional retailer who's got it going on. A tip for the budget-conscious shopper—that would be all of us: it's better to buy a few, select quality items than it is to buy a closet full of throw-away junk.
This month, Taylor and Coco, owners of Cocotay Boutique in Atlantic Highlands, NJ, pick their five favorites just for us.

1. The Ocean Trigger Turbo by Botkier Bags
We love the fabulous green/blue color. It's like the color of island waters. This is the perfect bag for spring and summer because it dresses up those basic jeans and t-shirts and adds a much-needed splash of color to that old business suit. People notice great bags and shoes, but they will actually admire this one. It's this season's must-have bag. It's also available in other colors.
2. Orange polo shirt by Project E
Everyone needs a little spice in their life. This Project E t-shirt is an inexpensive way to bring out the funky side in you. It wears well with a blazer and jeans or even a basic skirt. Wear the collar down for lunch with family and up to expose with the preppy printed logo when hanging at the beach. It's a bit longer than most t-shirts, so it has a slimming effect. We love that!
3. Pink dress by Ginger
You will be the talk of that cocktail party in this caftan/dress. Everyone looks good in pink, but this dress is so alluring that everyone will want to know where you got it. Remember to tell them Cocotay! Wear it to a friend's wedding or over jeans for a more casual look. It travels well and is very comfortable. Style and comfort, who could ask for more? That must be why caftans are all the rage this summer.
4. The Oceana shoe by Bettye Muller
Everyone needs a pair of Bettye Mullers. Her shoes are funky and classic with a heal that is the perfect height for maximum wearability. You can walk the streets of New York City for blocks without those annoying summer blisters. Pair them with a navy or white summer dress or suit and get walking.

5. Rain coat by Chaiken
No one likes to get caught in the rain. With this Chaiken rain coat, you actually wouldn't mind. You'll want to wear this neutral rain coat on a breezy summer day or any time it looks cloudy out. This timeless piece, is comfortable, packs easy and is super stylish. Throw it on over jeans or dress it up over a sexy summer dress. It's a practical yet stylish staple for the on-the-go mom.
