7 for All Mankind “Gwenevere” Skinny Jeans

7 for All Mankind “Gwenevere” Skinny Jeans

Finding skinny jeans when you’re not completely “skinny” is no easy (or fun) task. The key to a successful “skinny jeans for girls over 21” hunt, in my opinion, is to seek out a pair of jean leggings. Now, before you freak, hear me out: The Lycra will suck you in and make you look thinner, while the jean-like styling—think hip and rear pockets and belt loops—will keep them looking more like jeans and less like leggings. Trust me. My favorites are these from 7 for All Mankind. They’re thin enough to tuck into tall boots, yet hefty enough to keep you warm, and the color is just dark enough to be slimming, yet blue enough to look like everyday jeans. Seriously, every time I wear mine, people ask me if I’ve lost weight. Now go and get your own pair already!

Lil’ Love Bug Bubble Bath Vapor

Lil’ Love Bug Bubble Bath Vapor

The most frustrating thing about a house full of cold-stricken kids is that there’s really nothing you can do to alleviate the problem beyond shooting them up with some saline nasal spray. What I’ve found to actually help, though, is this non-medicated, all-natural bubble bath that includes lavender oil to aid respiratory functions by reducing inflammation, swelling, fever and pain; eucalyptus oil to fight bacteria and act as an expectorant; and rosemary oil to help alleviate cold symptoms and loosen chest congestion. When my kids are coughing and sneezing all over the place, a bath with these bubbles always helps.

Bobbi Brown Extra SPF 25 Tinted Moisturizing Balm

Bobbi Brown Extra SPF 25 Tinted Moisturizing Balm

My normally oily-to-dry skin is positively lizard-like in the winter. So annoying. To help soften my skin while adding a little complexion-evening color, I slather on this tinted balm, a lightweight foundation alternative for dry, dehydrated skin. Its ultra-rich consistency keeps my skin soft and hydrated, giving me—no kidding—a dewy look in the dead of winter. Plus, it contains SPF 25 to help protect my skin against UVA/B rays, which stick around even when it’s cold.
