Italian-born Liuba Lerro feels the same way and so she started her own online baby clothing boutique that specializes in unique, designer Italian imports. Say ciao to well-made, photo-opp worthy clothes with an ultra stylish flair (do not miss the double breasted sweater—swoon!). TFG: Why did you start your business? Liuba Lerro.: The idea of starting my own business comes from my passion for kids and for fashion. I am an Italian, born and raised in Italy; I have always been surrounded by fashionable clothes since I was a little girl. When I moved to the United States in 2006 and had my daughter Lavinia, I came to realize how limited the selection of baby clothes was. I was really frustrated when it was time to shop for her clothes, so I bought most of her clothes in Italy. The reaction I had from other moms was the admiration and continuous complements for the clothes my baby was wearing. This was the main reason why I have decided to share this amazing, different and unique experience with other moms. I want to give moms the opportunity to shop for different kind of clothes, something that it is not available on the ordinary US baby clothing markets. I have imported all the baby clothes from Italy and have chosen manufacturers that offer great quality, unique style, attention to details and elegance. Last, I wanted to do something to help children in need. Bambino Factory decided to donate 1% of any purchased item to a wonderful charity organization called Keep a Child Alive. TFG: Tell us about the name. LL: The word “bambino” means “baby” in Italian. I wanted this website to be considered a sort of baby’s factory where moms can pick, mix and match different items, such as a sweater matching a dress and a pair of tights, and create their own outfits. TFG: What makes Bambino Factory stand out?   LL: Bambino Factory offer the best and most unique baby clothes on the market. LL: My proudest moment as a business owner is when I receive great compliments from other moms on our products. This is exactly the main goal of Bambino Factory mission: Make other moms satisfied and happy just as much as I am when my daughter wears Bambino Factory clothes. Another proudest moment for me as a business owner was the opportunity to donate through Bambino Factory 1 percemt of any purchased item to my favorite charity organization Keep a Child Alive. It fills my heart with joy to think that we can do our little part to keep a child alive! TFG: What’s new for the season?
