Kiehl’s Heat-Protective Silk-Straightening Cream

Kiehl’s Heat-Protective Silk-Straightening Cream

The old adage “You always want what you can’t have” definitely applies to my hair and me: I’m a curly girl who just loves her hair straight. I’ve tried nearly every straightener on the market, but much like Goldilocks, I’ve found them all to be either too heavy or too ineffective; discovering one that was just right seemed nearly impossible. After trying this cult fave from Kiehl’s, however, I knew I had finally found the perfect one. It makes my hair super straight yet doesn’t weigh it down, and it allows me to blow out my curls while still leaving my hair with just enough bounce. And it’s super hydrating, so I’m left with shiny, silky hair, and not a fried mess. Bliss.

Tolani Edge Scarf

Tolani Edge Scarf in Light Chocolate

I’m all about this little scarf trend everyone seems to be rocking these days. It’s so casual and cute, and works for virtually every season. My current favorite scarf is this versatile one from Tolani that combines a little ethnic edge with modern design elements. With so many colors, it will go with nearly everything in your closet and is the perfect way to spice up a plain white tank and jeans.

P.J. Salvage Sleep Chemises

P.J. Salvage Sleep Chemises

Finding comfy cotton sleepwear that isn’t scary is always a challenge for me. I especially love nightgowns, which makes hooking myself up with sleepwear that isn’t totally Little House on the Prairie quite the task. Luckily, I have recently discovered the stretchy, PG-13-sexy chemises from P.J. Salvage. They’re super soft, don’t get all wrapped around my body as I toss and turn in the night, and, most importantly, don’t invite my husband to call me “Ma.”
