Ingrid & Isabel Everyday Cami I have to tell you about a shirt that is part of my mom-iform: the Everyday Cami from Ingrid & Isabel. Now, I wouldn’t say that I wear it every day, but I would say that every other to every third day isn’t an exaggeration. Whether I wear it to the gym with my Lululemons, out to dinner with jeans (wait, I don’t go out to dinner, I have two kids and a business—let me change that to: to the Whole Foods on Friday nights with jeans) or with, well, that’s all I wear, this shirt makes me look fabulous—if I do say so myself. Seamless-knit and with a crepe finish, this extra-long wonder-top is soft and form-fitting. Actually, it’s better than form-fitting; it’s form-shaping, creating a smooth and sexy silhouette. It’s the perfect pregnancy shirt (which is actually what they made it for): You can wear it under pre-preggo shirts and jackets or rock it solo for the super-cute here’s-my-bump look. And because it doesn’t pill, fade or lose its stretch, you can wear it long after the baby has left the building. ($32, www.figure8maternity.com) Love this cami, too? Scoop it up with a discount! | Belly Bandit After 10 months of losing the baby weight, I am about five pounds to my goal. Ahh, that elusive five-pound goal—always in my reach until a piece of birthday cake or several bites of my daughter’s pizza winds up in my mouth. So, for the most part, I look good—if I do say so myself again—but my stomach is, uh, well, flabby. Eww. Even the word grosses me out. You know what would have helped? A Belly Bandit. |
